What is Kouri Bridge?
The Kouri Ohashi Bridge, a scenic spot representing the Yanbaru area in the northern part of Okinawa's main island, is a 1,960-meter-long bridge connecting Nakijin Village and Kouri Island. The view stretching in a straight line over the emerald green sea is highly popular as “one of the most scenic driving courses in Okinawa.
Since its opening in 2005, the Kouri Bridge has become a regular sightseeing spot in Okinawa, attracting many travelers with its spectacular view of the contrast between the clear ocean, white sandy beach, and blue sky. It is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in the northern part of Okinawa (Yanbaru sightseeing), especially when touring by rental car.
